The Coordination Office for Data Processing in University Administration at public universities of applied sciences in Bavaria (KDV) is a central service unit responsible for the IT infrastructure and software support for Bavarian universities of applied sciences (HAW). Its primary objective is to support universities in using and maintaining their administrative software—particularly the HISinOne software, which is used for many core processes such as student administration, examination management, and human resources. The KDV not only handles the ongoing technical maintenance of these systems but also supports the introduction of new software versions and complex transitions to ensure that universities can operate smoothly.
A key service provided by the KDV is the maintenance and further development of the CEUS Local Data Warehouse system. This system enables each individual university to create its own customized reports on students, finances, research, and other areas.
