Ausführliche Beschreibung

The MACH Competence Center (MKZ) at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf is a central point of contact for universities using the ERP software MACH in their administration. It was established in 2011 to address the shared challenges associated with the digitalization and modernization of university administration. Currently, around 20 universities from North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Schleswig-Holstein cooperate with the MKZ. The central task of the MKZ is to provide technical, organizational, and strategic support to member universities, enabling them to adapt their IT infrastructure to constantly changing requirements—such as new legal regulations or more complex processes.

The added value of the MKZ lies in continuous collaboration and knowledge exchange among universities. Instead of each institution having to start from scratch when facing new challenges, all members benefit from jointly developed solutions, proven practices, and shared training. The MKZ regularly organizes workshops, continuing education programs, and lectures.
