The Competence and Service Center CEUS is a central unit of the University of Bamberg, serving as the central point of contact for all state universities and universities of applied sciences in Bavaria, as well as for the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts (StMWK). Its central product is the Computer-Based Decision Support System for Higher Education in Bavaria (CEUS) – a comprehensive business intelligence platform that aggregates and analyzes data from various areas of higher education management. CEUS enables universities to make well-founded decisions based on quality-assured information. This includes evaluations concerning students, personnel, finances, costs, and graduates. The platform is structured in a way that allows it to adapt to the specific needs of individual universities and is continuously further developed.
