AusfĂĽhrliche Beschreibung

The RADAR-BB repository is a state-wide service provided by the state initiative FDM-BB, supporting researchers at Brandenburg universities in cost-free, secure, and sustainable archiving or publishing of their research data. It is a comprehensive service that not only enables the storage of digital data but also supports structured and sustainable data management throughout the entire research lifecycle. A key added value lies in compliance with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), meaning that the data are easily discoverable, accessible, usable, and reusable—both for humans and machines. Each published dataset is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), uniquely identifying it and providing a permanent link. Furthermore, the data are registered with DataCite, enhancing visibility and citability. RADAR-BB also offers the option of peer review to ensure data quality and supports researchers in documenting their data in accordance with funding requirements.
