Ausführliche Beschreibung
The Competence Center E-Akte.NRW provides universities in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia with centralized support for introducing and implementing digital recordkeeping. A central service is the provision of a multi-tenant document management system (DMS) based on the platform d.documents. This system serves as a shared technical foundation for all universities in the network and enables secure, structured, and sustainable management of electronic records. Universities can access this system to digitally transform their own processes—whether for student, personnel, or third-party funding records. Multi-tenancy means that each university independently manages its own data and settings, while sharing the underlying technical infrastructure. This saves resources, increases security, and ensures consistent quality.
The added value of this service lies in shared use and networking. Instead of each university laboriously building its own solution, all benefit from a centralized, high-quality platform that is continuously developed and operated.
