AI Chatbot HAWKI – Your Intelligent Assistant for the University
The AI Chatbot HAWKI is a modern tool based on Artificial Intelligence (KI) that is available free of charge to staff members of Thuringian universities. It serves as an interactive, text-based interface built on the API of OpenAI (ChatGPT-4 Turbo). With HAWKI, users can ask questions, draft texts, create summaries, generate ideas, or support complex tasks in teaching and research. Particularly practical is the use of predefined assistants and prompt templates specifically tailored to academic requirements – for example, creating teaching materials, research plans, or application letters. HAWKI is not only a tool for quick answers, but also a creative partner in daily university life.
The added value of HAWKI lies in simplifying and accelerating labor-intensive tasks. Instead of spending hours formulating texts or conducting research, staff members can create high-quality content with HAWKI in the shortest possible time. This saves time, increases productivity, and allows them to focus more strongly on the core substantive tasks.
